Prez at Venkateswara temple

HIMALAYAN NEWS SERVICE NEW DELHI; President Dr Ram Baran Yadav today offered prayers at the Venkateswara temple in the hilltown of Tirumala in Andhra Prades.
The President also offered prayers at the Padmavati temple in Tirupati, according to Nepals Ambassador to India Rukma Shamsher Rana, who is also a member of the Presidents entourage.
Temple priests invoked blessings upon the President and other members of the delegation. According to Ambassador Rana, President Yadav was received by senior officials of the Protocol Division at the airport.
Everything was beautifully arranged right from the airport to the temples. The President was warmly welcomed everywhere, Rana said over phone from Hyderabad. He is scheduled to return to New Delhi tomorrow afternoon.
