Ex-combatants start pursuing education
RSS MANGALBARE: As many as 63 ex-combatants, who were deemed disqualified in the cantonments, have started pursuing formal education.
The ex-combatants, who had walked out from the first division located in Chulachuli last year, begun having formal education with the financial assistance of UNICEF.
Ex-combatants have attracted towards academic pursuit when UNICEF provided with monthly Rs. 1,008 each as an incentive for education, said Coordinator of Informal Education, Prakash Adhikari.
Financial assistance worth Rs. 100,000 each has been provided to those willing to pursue informal education under reintegration of conflict victim children and youths, he added.
